Bob and Mike Bryan, the twin brothers who have put together a record-setting doubles career, announced Wednesday that 2020 will be their final season.
The Bryans made the announcement on Tennis Channel.
"We've been on tour... more than half our lives," spoke youngest twin Bob. ""Obviously, very difficult decision, big decision."
"Tennis is in our blood, so it feels like a part of us is dying," he added.
The twins final season will include an 18th US Clay tournament, an event they have won six times. The Bryans have committed to playing at River Oaks as part of their final season.
The 2020 season will culimnate a career that includes 118 titles and more than 1100 match wins for the 10-time No. 1 ATP doubles team. After making their pro tournament debut at the US Open in 1995, the Bryans have plenty of memories that they are looking to celebrate in the upcoming season.
