LLEYTON HEWITT COMMITTED TO HOUSTON!

We are pleased to announce that Lleyton Hewitt will be competing in the River Oaks US Men's Clay Court Championships in 2009. Lleyton is a former world #1 and the youngest player in ATP history to achieve the top ranking spot. Additionally he is the holder of 26 career ATP singles titles including both a Wimbeldon and US Open Championship. Lleyton has been sidelined the second half of 2008 with an injury but will resume a full competitive schedule beginning in January. BRYAN BROS. COMMITTED TO HOUSTON! 

We are thrilled to annouce the committment from Bob & Mike Bryan the world's #1 Doubles team. Bob & Mike will be participating in the 2009 River Oaks US Men's Clay Court Championships. This dynamic duo won three Masters Series events in 2008 in Miami, Rome, and Cinncinnati. In addition to this, they won the represented the United States at the Bejiing Olympics and brought home the bronze medal. The Bryan brothers have played the Houston tournament many times in the past, and have taken home the Doubles crown for the event as recently as 2007 when defeated Mark Knowles and Dan Nestor to win the trophy. The Bryan brothers are looking forward to battling it out to take back the #1 Doubles ranking throughout 2009, which came down to a few points and one match at the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai. Also returning to Houston this year with the Bryans will be their coach and father Wayne Bryan. We look forward to welcoming them all here in April.  (Photo courtesy of Getty Images)
