A pair of players with recent success at the Fayez Sarofim & Co. U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship are among the entrants for a two-round qualifying tournament that will be held March 30-31 at River Oaks Country Club.
Houston-born Gijs Brouwer, a US Clay quarterfinalist in 2022 and semifinalist in 2023, and American JJ Wolf, a quarterfinalist last year, are both among the entrants in the 16-person field who will compete for four spots in the main draw.
Joining 25-year-old Wolf in the field from the US will be 20-year-old Martin Damm, 22-year-old Emilio Nava, 24-year-old Patrick Kypson and veterans Michael Mmoh and Denis Kudla.
The four players who advance will join a main draw field that includes defending champion Frances Tiafoe and a trio of players who have won titles already this season. Read more on the entries here.
