For the fourth year in a row Americans claimed the US Men’s Clay Court Championship doubles title as James Blake and Sam Querrey downed Treat Conrad Huey and Dominic Inglot 7-6(14) 6-4 in the final Saturday night.
The American duo entered the tournament with a lifetime record of 0-4 together, including a first round loss at the 2008 Olympic Games.
It is Blake’s second US Men’s Clay Court title, as he brought home the title in 2004 with Mardy Fish.
Querrey was contesting the final for the second straight year, having finished as runner-up last year with John Isner.
Huey and Inglot were playing their first ATP World Tour final together.
As is the River Oaks tradition, the champions celebrated their win with a dip in the pool. WATCH VIDEO
